The biggest problem that I've seen is how BOTH SIDES categorize the other as the "evil" or "bad" side. That does absolutely nothing but help to polarize our country further. It is really refreshing to read here that we ALL agree that there are alot of people on BOTH SIDES that have bad morals. To me, that's a step in the right direction. :D

I'm independent because I do vote for the person that happens to reflect my beliefs. I've voted for Anderson, Reagan, Bush (number 1), Clinton and Gore - so, I've been all over the spectrum.

Thanks, Barbara! I'm sure we would be too. :) And as you can see, our mods do a fine job -- no flaming allowed here. If it someone attempts it, the mods tackle 'em and get 'em good. :)

And thanks to Marshall, Brett, Linda, Tim, Stephanie, and Jara. :)

Linda, don't we have a wonderful governor!!! I'm glad I retired from teaching or my job would probably have been in jeopardy. (I'd just moved to this school district and was beginning my 2nd year in it when I retired.)

I'll trade you two. Governor for Governor???? You will see why later on why i say that. 3.5 million education cut huh??? Can almost triple that here and add to it a deficit unheard of and as well the staggering loss of jobs (Alot of manufactoring good paying job). When i get some numbers i will post them.

No thanks, KOW. Ours is bad enough LOL. What is the starting salary for teachers in Ohio? In MS it's barely above 20,000/yr. When I retired after 10 yrs as a certified teacher, my salary had just made it above the 30,000/yr mark. It's so bad, my kids were getting free lunches at school LOL.

Did you bother to PM any of the moderaters and ask what happend? Sometimes we all make honest mistakes and hit the wrong buton instead of send (Submit). I have done that quite a few times myself! Now if it just happens to be related to a (Thread) i seen you posted in the winter forum you can blame me for getting that deleted because as i am CERTAIN you know that will do nothing but start trouble which now you do have me wondering here what your deal is????????

Other then that i have to say this has been a great discussion/debate going here!

It wasn't valid, justifiable or flame-free.

Making a direct attack on a moderator and how this site is run will not be allowed on this board. Got it?

As i thought. Your lying again. Oh and BTW why dont you share with the rest of us who you REALLY are????? JS50!!!!!!!Flame free! PLEASE!

Some of you guys (from you know where) will stop at nothing to come over here and cause trouble every chance you get! Pretty sad if you ask me.

Oh btw after the admins and rest of the mods see this they can delete both of my replies because its taking away from the great debate/discussion being had here which you JS50 and the others from over there would know nothing about.

Going after a mod (Yet again)here huh? Sounds familiar NOW DOESNT IT!

Anyways lets get back to the discussion at hand. Sorry everyone!

What's happening here? I left the board for a while to cough and sneeze, and I must have missed something.

If it was important enough for us to know any details, I'm sure we would. It appears it was simply another case of a disgruntled poster attacking a member or, worse, a moderator. The offensive post was deleted. Have faith in the mods...they do a wonderful job.

Let's move on and keep the board...gruntled? No, that can't be right, can it?

It wasn't offensive at all.

I just know that usually the mods handle stuff behind the scenes and we don't always need to know about it or get involved. That's how some of us (not necessarily you or me, but it's possible) can get into flame wars with others (when we DO know what's going on).

I know I tend to be protective of my buddies and if I had happened to see the attacks, I might have had to go tickle someone...or worse! :) :grr:
