Socialists win in a big way the elections in Spain
By a margin of 42.9% to 37% the PSOE or Socialist Party won the election over the PP the actual governing party for the past 8 years. The Madrid Bombings really was the turning point in their victory as JOSE MARIA AZNAR the prime minister who is now leaving was a big allie of Bush against Iraq in the war and Spain sended over 1,000 troops to Iraq and as soon Al-Qaeda claimed responsability for the Bombings the people choosed to detron the actual goverment party out of office. So Bush has lost an allie in the Iraq situation as the new head of state ZAPATERO has said in the past days that he will pull out of Iraq the Spain troops.

The Next Ally
to be attacked will be the Philippines just before their Presidential election in May. This is part of Al Cruda's stategy to isolate us and then unleash massive strikes against us until the American Public caves in as it will resulting in the total demise of this Country before 2176. We blew it by not getting OBL before taking on Iraq and now it won't make any difference if we do because Al Cruda is no longer an organization but an anti American movement of global extent.

The big question is if just before the US elections in november 2nd there will be a big attack to then influence the voting of the americans to the democrats.

This is a really bad situation. Al Qaeda has won; there will more than likely be further attacks in countries like the UK, Italy, and even the USA in November. Al Qaeda now knows that they control the world- they have the power to influence the outcome of elections through fear. A very scary thought indeed. I hate to say it, but now we may be at their mercy.

I think that the best thing we can do is to pray for nothing to happen in the US.

Where is this 2176 date from? That date is so far in the future. I know of the world war in 2015 that killed nearly three billion people and our next civil war that lasts 10 years leading up to it.
This I fear will send a positive message to Al-Qaeda and just upped our percentage of attack right with it.
Some of you can and most likely will surrender but it is not your fault really. Several others on this board and I will fight to the end, remember the Alamo always.

Well mf_dolphin I was responding to Aslkahuna's comment about the US ending in 2176. I had not heard of that. Then I was responding to a few people that indicated the bombings in Spain had an outcome on the elections. Finally I responded to the few that talked about our elections. Maybe it just didn't come out right without being more specific in the post. I sometimes think faster then I can type and get unorganized.

BEER IS RIGHT. this greatly increases the chance the terrorists will attack here in late oct. they saw spain surrender, and there is no doubt they want a kerry presidency. sadly, spain will be forever known as a defeated nation. by 10 bombs. if we surrender, our time as a great nation is over.

Yes it could go against them. It all depends on how large the attack is and what type it is as well. If they make specific threats and follow through then it will look bad for Bush. Ex. a statement is sent to the media saying in the next week or so they will blow up a train in DC and it goes off. Now they release a statement asking how will the Government deal with the Bubonic Plague that they just released in the midwest. In the end we just don't know how much they can pull off.

you may be right, but i feel, we as a nation are ready to give up too. one thing to worry about. if an attack does occur, and it is shown the butchers came across the open mexican border, then bush will be crushed. he needs to close the border now.

Ijaz: Aznar's Defeat a Stunning Setback in Terror War
The defeat of Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar's Popular Party in Sunday's Spain election represents a stunning setback in the war on terrorism, contends Middle East expert Mansoor Ijaz.
Asked what Aznar's defeat means for U.S. allies, Ijaz told Fox News Channel's Rita Cosby, "It means they better get they're election flack jackets on, because this represents a dangerous mutation in the ability of terrorists to instill fear in governments all over the world that supported the United States."
Aznar had been ahead in the polls as last week began, but Thursday's Madrid train bombing had voters blaming him for siding with the U.S. in the war in Iraq. Spain currently has 1600 troops in Iraq.
"This particular election result in Spain is probably the single most important event that has taken place since the attacks on Sept. 11 because it demonstrates that terrorism, in fact, can pay," said Ijaz. "And now one of the governments that supported the United States has fallen."
Steve Pomerantz, former head of the FBI counterterrorism division, agreed, telling Fox, "To have an ally like Spain fall away from us, if that's what occurs, sends exactly the wrong kind of message.""
i agree with this. what spain has done is increase the chance many more will die. the terrorists have defeated one nation with ease

And most Americans are preoccupied with Janet Jackson, Jerry Springer, Scott Peterson, Reality Shows, Gay Marriages, and all kinds of other stuff to even pay attention. I just wonder if the western world has become so corrupt that we've blown it. At least the Moslems are devout and live their faith.
