14/9/4, just like my signature. Will the hurricane in the South Atlantic count for our numbers, though?

No that one doesn't count as a north atlantic basin cane so the numbers dont change.

Let's get that list more longer. Those who want to participate have until may 31 at midnight to post your forecasts.Non-experts and the more knowleageble can do so so let's see how many of the members are close to what in reallity will happen this 2004 season. And that hurricane in the south atlantic ocean which is a first in that area doesn't count for the forecasts because where it counts is at the north atlantic area.

Hurri Goes High

#58 Postby Anonymous » Sat Mar 27, 2004 6:37 pm

I don't like pop quizzes like these but I will try.
My non-expert unlikely to be correct guess is on the high end:
19/8/4

I non-expertly forecast a long season -- starting early and ending late.

Ok Hurri your forecast is in the list and you went with the very high end 19 named systems but that is what you think the season will look like and that is ok.In fact all the forecasts in the list are in the above average range but much lower than 19.
