Today`s unexpected snowfall (pic)

#1 Postby BritBob » Sun Mar 21, 2004 6:22 pm

Although snow was forecast, the warm sector was expected to push into the Moncton area this afternoon changing to ice pellets and rain. This didn`t materialise, hence we got a days worth of heavy wet snow.

Took this scenic picture out in the backyard. Although I`m pretty much sick to death of snow, I enjoyed the scenery the wet snow gave :)

Nice Pic. Bob. I just picked up a quick inch here as well from Lake effect. If it had been earlier i would have gotten a snap shot. Still a little more to go tonight then it should be done with.

Anyways thanks for sharing the pic!

Well i again got hit just a little while ago with another quick inch of snow from the lake effect. Most impressive lake effect snow squall i have ever seen rolled thru here and dropped most of that in about 15mins!

Nice pic but I feel sorry for you because the weather is absolutely beautiful today. Currently 61 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a north wind  .
