Calendar says spring but wintry weather still holds on!
Well atleast the first day of spring yesterday felt like it and even sounded like it with a high temp of 68 and a thunderstorm to go with it. Today its back to winter again with temps hard pressed to hit 30 and lafe effect snowshowers going. Tonights forecasted low is 12 which i do believe is a record for here.
Well it may warm up later this week again but with that it looks rainy and wet but maybe some storms to go along with it. We will see.

Strong gusty winds today ushered in changes as a cold front slides off to the south and east of South Carolina ...
Freeze watches and warnings have been issued for most all of South Carolina for Monday night/Tuesday AM as temperatures are expected to range from the mid-20's Upstate to the mid-30's Coastal ... just a reminder that winter generally doesn't leave quietly ...

Well between yesterday's lake effect snows and last night i managed to pick up another two inches of snow for here which is now just about all gone already thanks to the higher March sun. One of the most impressive lake effect events i have seen here. This part of OH isnt known for Lake effect snows! Thats a little NE of here towards Cleveland!
Today it failed to hit freezing (High of 31) and with sunny skies which i am not certain but will check and see if its a record. Back down to the Teens tonight and then the warm up begins tomorrow!!!:)

Temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 20's and lower 30's ... however, with the winds NOT dying off (NE winds) as expected as of right now, temperatures continue to remain in the low 40's, however, a biting wind chill ... the high is expected to settle in and winds are still expected to fall off to light after midnight ...
But traditionally in lower SC, northeast winds do NOT provide prime radiational cooling for the area ...
