Dude-My Dell has shipped!

Just an update. Got the email confirmation this morning that my new baby was shipped yesterday. Aren't they based in Round Rock? If so, I would expect it to be here by Friday at the latest. Hubby is now in mad rush to finish building computer desk. Don't think he's gonna make it..... :grr:

WOO HOO!! You are going to love it Suz. If you check the status on the website, you should have a tracking number from UPS. Will give you the exact day it should arrive. You will need to be home to sign for it.

Mine was shipped from Nashville, TN, I believe via UPS regular ground delivery. However, the headquarters are in the Dallas area, Round Rock.

But considering where you live, in Houston, it may go directly from the facility (if shipped from Round Rock) to your local distribution center in a matter of a couple days.

When it does arrive, enjoy!

My UPS tracking only had an item for under $10 listed on it, saying it would be delivered the Friday after I ordered it, if I remember correctly; which was exactly a week later. As I mentioned in another thread, the entire system took five days to get here.

Imagine my shock when my doorbell rang at 4:30 and DUDE, MY DELL WAS HERE!

All set up except for my DSL, which I will have to call SWBell about tomorrow. Am using AOL for time being, since I got a free trial. This thing is bitchin cool!
