Anybody else know the third show?

Third show Bunch? Now you have me stumped. Mmmmm, someone will know this answer.

All three (GA, PJ, and the answer to Bunch's question) were cancelled (along with "Mayberry RFD" and "Hee Haw") in '71 because Fred Silverman at CBS thought they only appealed to citizens in rural communities and to senior citizens. "Hee Haw" returned in syndication, much to my dismay.

Hootersville trilogy? That's easy - The Beverly Hillbillies! Several of their episodes involved Sam Drucker's store and the Petticoat Junction Hotel.

Beverly Hillbillies - now why didn't I think of that? Almost seemed too easy - all three shows were very similar.

Okay, if any of you are bored, tune in Green Acres, sit down with a kid hopefully younger than 14 and sit back. Before you know it, they'll have all sorts of opinions. As I explained my 13 year old daughter Laura is into Green Acres now. However she can't believe how dumb Lisa is!!! Today she said - "Mom, any 5 year old is smarter than she is!!!". This was the scene where Lisa is complaining how loud the dryer is. She told Olivahhhh all she put in there was the tablecloth......but also the dishes. After I was stopped laughing, Laura really wanted to know why she was so stupid. I tried explaining, to no avail, how ~some~ women back then appeared inept to get their husbands to come to their rescue. The look on her face was priceless! Guess you had to be there but seriously, watch this show with a kid who's never seen it before.

Just watched an episode..
The carpenters are Alf and Ralph Monroe. (Ralph is the girl) My favorite gag: the sliding closet door that slides all the way out of the track and falls on the floor.

Mr Kimball came over to talk about irrigating the corn. Lisa kept saying "irritating the corn"
