I'm saving the NOAA visible images and making them into a loop. As long as I'm home today I'll add images to it:

I don't see how anyone can argue that this is just a TS. Can't understand why the Brazilian mets are in denial that there is a hurricane out there.

I just added a few more images to the loop link above. And here's a map of southern Brazil with the approximate location of the hurricane, so you can see what cities may be affected:

Noname isn't just sitting around either. It lloks to be movinga t a pretty good clip now or is that just a product of how you did the loops Wxman.
Even though they seem to be aware of it I don't think they are anywhere near prepared for what even a minimal hurricane can bring. I hope that area it is headed for is mostly rural.

Just added another hour's worth of images to the loop. The loops are just simple animated GIFs. I'm going to NOAA's floater directory and saving the latest images then importing them into ULead's GIF Animator to make them. Yes, the hurricane is moving right along now.
As for the intensity, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a T5.0 on the next update. Looks like at least a Cat 2 storm now - perhaps stronger.

Just got back from a 3-hr bike ride and uploaded the latest loop with images from 1709Z to now.
