I am glad your mom is ok Jeremy! You, my friend, are in my prayers daily!! Good luck on the job front Joshua!!
I went to the doctors yesterday and my left eardrum has ruptured from a severe infection. I have lost my hearing in that ear, hopefully only temporarily. We are going to re-check it in 10 days to see if it is healing and if it is not, we may have to go with surgery with possible permanent hearing loss in that ear. It is a very miserable feeling. I can hear my own voice very well
but also a constant echo and humming. It really is enough to drive a person insane (not that I have very far to go
) My equilibrium is way whacked out and that makes me constantly nauseated............yuck!! A few healing prayers would help right now..........Thanks everyone!!
Sandi

Sandi!!!
Prayers rising right now from W. Houston for quick healing and full recovery. My son is profoundly deaf in one ear and can only hear half in the other ear. Having dealt with that since he was 4 years old I understand how you feel. IT IS MISERABLE!!!! And most people do not understand and/or care when someone is hard of hearing. I hope yours heals completely with no loss!!
Jeremy, good news on the Mom situation. Hope it continues to improve.
I still need some prayers for my left knee. I'm starting to wonder if it will ever be the same after the accident.

OK...there are still a few minutes of heart time left here at the old keyboard in Scottsdale. Prayers for patience and healing on behalf of your mom, Jeremy. Also that both ears will work in tandem for you Sandi...same music in each one...as we cannot afford to have you lose both your hearing and sanity at the same time. Perhaps God wants you to listen to yourself once in a while! And for you David, may you too find a permanent fix to the old bumper guard (your knee). They take a long time to heal, but when they do they are strong as a horse!
...and for all those with bumps and bruises, pains and sickness...may the sunrise on Wednesday bless you with improvement and smiles.

Prayers please?
Quick note everyone - can I please be somewhat selfish and ask for prayers for my daughter Nina? For two reasons:
1. Her ACT is this Saturday, April 3 at 8 a.m. She's had several practice ACT's and a 5 week Kaplan ACT Prep course. Despite all of that, she's worried she won't get a 25 or higher. So just pray she's does really well or her very best.
2. Prom. This is such a long story but I'll keep it very short. Her group of friends at school (girls, about 5 or so) are all going to the Prom. 2 are bringing dates, but one is just a pre-arranged friend agreement. The rest are going stag. Seems they don't have room for her in the limo and they need to keep the count down also for a dinner reservation. Many, many tears in our house last night. Why are girls just so nasty? So I have a very heavy heart today knowing this entire group is treating her like this. So just send a few prayers up for this too. I hesitated even asking for prayers for a silly Prom but when you're a High School Junior the Prom is a BIG deal. And when you're a Mom of a HS Junior, you worry. And I'm worrying today!!
Thanks everyone. You do wonders in the prayer department so please can you work some magic for us?

David - That knee will function normally and be free of pain in the name of Jesus. "..by his wounds you have been healed." 1Pe2:24b
Mary - You? Selfish? Bah! You're a good friend to many, and it is a privilege to pray for anything weighing heavy on you and your family.
That also goes for anyone on the board. We are here to support each other personally, prayerfully, and meteorologically!

Thanks!!! I am going to have a doctor ordered MRI on it soon-have to arrange it first. It is not doing well these last two days-back on the meds. Hey, It could be a lot worse.
Prayers going up from Houston for all of your unselfish requests Miss Mary. Tell her to look at it this way-they couldn't handle having someone as special as her with them. It will be their loss!!!
Jeremy we want pics of the prom!!!!

Thanks everyone! The ACT is tomorrow so that's our focus right now. The Prom thing is worked out now - seems as if all the girls in this group are taking dates, even if they're just friends. So Nina would truly be the only one without a date. She said she will not go under those circumstances, no way. So basically I was misinformed yesterday, yes they didn't exactly make her feel welcome, but now we realize the situation isn't as we originally thought. As for her going to a guy she barely knows at school and putting herself out there for rejection, she just will flat-out not do that. This I know. Nina's actually fine now with not going. She said she always has her Senior Prom to look forward to. And who knows, that's a year away. Anything can happen. High School can be just brutal. Just brutal. She can't wait to get to college and be around people who are more mature than this. But again, that's over a year away! She has to get along with this group somehow. Appreciate the prayers, very much.
David good luck with the MRI. Hope it goes well.

Good luck with your MRI David. I had one on my knee before and I know how it feels. I hope it's nothing major.
Mary - praying for Nina on both accounts this afternoon. Hope she can go to Prom and have a good time, and also that she does well on her ACT test.
Praying for you Sandi, as well; that your eardrum heals ASAP and that you can return to your normal self soon.

As I do every night also Jeremy.
The MRI revealed nothing earth shattering. My kneecap is out of place laterally and there is some fluid on the knee behind the cap. Also apparently some arthritis showing up too. NOthing is torn or borken, but they are sending me to an othopedic doctor for further evaluation.
Hope all is going well with everyone!!

Hey David, I know Arthur too. He's not so bad if you take Flexamin or Glucosamine Chondroitin. Kinda makes him easier to handle. ((gentle Hugs))) to you my friend. You know you're always in my prayers.
Jeremy, prayers going out to your stepfather. That's really painful.
Prayers coming from the Burgh for all of those in need.
Happy Easter

Praying for everyone in need this early Thursday morning.
I come to you all to ask for prayers for my mom. She has a job interview this morning at 10 AM (my time) and I hope that she gets it because she's been out of work for almost a month now and I'm not going to have much of a birthday celebration this month because of this.
So I ask that you all say a prayer for her this morning that she gets the job, thanks.

Ah, I am a little down.
One bright note, I have been accepted to University of Nebraska-Omaha, transfering from a community college to a four-year insitution
But, the down part.
A little depressed with how things are going with my friend Emily. She has been very busy lately, meaning that she has not had anytime to do anything. But that is not the point. Along those same lines, I rarely get ahold of her through the phone (she does not typically look at her e-mail) because she is out at school or work.
I don't want her to think that I have abandoned her, because it has been a little over a month since I last was able to reach her. I'm concerned that she may think I have forgotten her when, in fact, I have not.
Thanks!
