You're darn right!!

I have no idea who I'm voting for to be quite honest with you OtherHD. I don't want to vote for Bush, I have questions about Kerry and I don't want Nader. I MAY sit this one out because I can't vote "for" someone I don't believe in.

Watching the polls at this point is about as useful as watching every wobble in a hurricane's track. It will only get you dizzy lol

Stormraiser, I agree wholeheartedly, as you would guess, with you about it not appearing right for Bush to be 'vacationing' at this time. Whether he is on top of things are not, it looks bad.

All those who do not like our President will obviously always find fault when there isn't any. Except for when it is a President they like then the vacationing would be justified.

No, I wouldn't care who the president was, Dem or Rep, if he chose to 'vacation' while our men are dying right and left. It just seems so callous.

Did anyone really think that trying to establish democracy in medevil land would be anything other than arduous.

Sunnyday he is going to his ranch. Not some exotic Island get a way. His ranch is very much "part" of the white house. Like I said a President is never on "vacation".

I chose the word 'vacationing' because it is the word I've heard over and over on the tv and radio and in print. The story went something like, "Pres. Bush is vacationing for the Easter holiday at his ranch, etc." It wasn't my choice of a word; it is the one continually repeated in the media.

Stormraiser also used the word 'vacationing' in an earlier post on this topic, and nobody corrected his use of the word.

Afghanistan is a medieval land. Iraq is not. It was pretty darn close to becoming a 1st world county before Saddam came in. And even now it is fairly modern by relative standards.

The infrastructure of the big cities is modern but the majority of the populous resides outside of such and the general cultural experience heretofore and religion is one of oppression and violence

Hey Dave how come we hardly ever see negative Kerry posts from you? I thought you were a free thinking independant.

BTW Kerry cant say a word. He was sking down both sides of some mountain on the 1 year aniversary of the Iraq war.

The President never actually goes on vacation. He is briefed several times a day at his ranch. He has morning meetings via conference calls with his advisors. The only difference is that he doesnt have to wear his suit.

I would submit that this was by design. Saddam was quick to reward the minority Sunni's and quick to punish the majority Shiites.

It is easy to get caught up in and believe what the liberal biased media tell you. You have to take what they say and then read between the lines sometimes. :D

I understand that some of the media may be biased, but I don't agree that every single person in every single form of the media is biased liberally. I have always thought for myself. :D
