The differences between WWBB and Storm2K members

#1 Postby Guest » Fri Apr 09, 2004 2:12 pm

(Please note: As those on the WWBB may know, I have a strange sense of humor.)

Based on results of extensive research that exists only in my own mind, I have compiled the following comparison of most likely differences between WWBB and Storm2K:

Investment strategies

Storm2K member: Varied portfolio of no-load mutual funds, stocks and Roth IRAs.

WWBB member: Once scalped a pair of crappy Red Sox/Devil Rays tickets to two German tourists for $500.

Tolerance for spicy foods

Storm2K member: Finds Taco Bell mild sauce hard to handle.
WWBB member: Once downed a shot of Frank's Red Hot on a $20 dare.

Use of profanity

WWBB member: Droppin' F-bombs like an F-16 over Iraq
Storm2K member: Will only cuss if Dale Jr. loses or if someone calls the president "Dumya"

For men only: secret wouldn't want wife to know about:

WWBB member: Has unclean thoughts about TWC's Kristina Abernathy
Storm2K member: Has unclean thoughts about TWC's Kristina Abernathy

For moderators: Recent reason for banning:

WWBB moderator: Member made multiple personal attacks and threats
Storm2K moderator: Member said they enjoyed Richard Clarke's recent book

Pets:

Storm2K member: Dog named "Vortex"
WWBB member: Snake named "Axl"

Sunday morning activities:

Storm2K member: Wake up, go to church and clean garage.
WWBB member: Stumble out of bed, check 12Z GFS, start flame war with DT.

Deepest, darkest thought:

WWBB member: Prays for back-to-back six-foot snowstorms that paralyze the East Coast.
Storm2K member: Would like to run over every liberal in the US with their pickup truck.

Opinion on TWC travel desk anchor Alexandra Steele:

WWBB member: Can't frickin' stand her.
Storm2K member: Can't frickin' stand her.

You obviously haven't been hanging around the kitchen lately for my habanero/serrano/cilantro dipping sauce :grrr: But in general, I find Taco Bell hard to handle

You have tipped your hand, my friend, as a person of great taste. Cilantro is the key to any good salsa. You can't have good salsa without it.

I don't necessarily fit that mold:

Investment strategy: Saving "state" quarters in a map until the day before payday I take them out to put gas in the car.

Spicy foods: Eats jalepenos out of the jar

Use of Profanity: Ask my wife, but not in front of the kids or at S2K

secret wouldn't want wife to know about: Continuous unclean thoughts

Recent reason for banning: Smelly armpits. You're talking about ban deodorant, aren't you?

Pets: 3 pit bulls

Sunday morning activity: Wake up to dog in face wanting to go out.

Deepest, darkest thought: I hate NASCAR

Opinion on TWC travel desk anchor Alexandra Steele: See unclean thoughts

No portfolio ... never bought scalped tickets ...

Tolerance for spicy foods

Storm2K member: Finds Taco Bell mild sauce hard to handle.
WWBB member: Once downed a shot of Frank's Red Hot on a $20 dare.

Hate Taco sauce, although just dropped down 6 tacos and heading for more in a few minutes ...

Use of profanity

WWBB member: Droppin' F-bombs like an F-16 over Iraq
Storm2K member: Will only cuss if Dale Jr. loses or if someone calls the president "Dumya"

I save the F-Bombs for work and people that piss me off ... and not into politics...

For men only: secret wouldn't want wife to know about:

WWBB member: Has unclean thoughts about TWC's Kristina Abernathy
Storm2K member: Has unclean thoughts about TWC's Kristina Abernathy

Not married, but Kristina Abernathy's a good choice for unclean thoughts, although ... this lady suits me mucho better...

Pets:

Storm2K member: Dog named "Vortex"
WWBB member: Snake named "Axl"

Cat named "Ninja", Adopted Dog named aftet a cigarette .. "Winston"

Sunday morning activities:

Storm2K member: Wake up, go to church and clean garage.
WWBB member: Stumble out of bed, check 12Z GFS, start flame war with DT.

Wake up, check model guidance, anything interesting ... post, if not ... go out and check for prospective dates (while hiding the huge hickey left by the one night stand)

Deepest, darkest thought:

WWBB member: Prays for back-to-back six-foot snowstorms that paralyze the East Coast.
Storm2K member: Would like to run over every liberal in the US with their pickup truck.

Nah ... a hurricane to track 365 days a year.

Opinion on TWC travel desk anchor Alexandra Steele:
