What do you mean your first accident. You're not planning more are you?

When I was in 6th grade me, my best friend, and about 4 other boys were riding go carts. Bobby lost control of his and drove out into the street and was run over by a car. He was trapped underneath the car, it stopped, the woman driving was screaming, he was screaming, we were shocked beyond description. After about 3 minutes he stopped screaming. He was dead. At school me and another friend cleaned out his desk, I went to the viewing and funeral but barely remember it. Things happen in life that undoubtably alter you forever, and in this case not for the good. I have since had parents and grandparents and in laws die,all with great sorrow, but the shock and horror of a death like that at such a young age never leaves you, it has been almost 40 years now and I still do my best to avoid driving by the site. I do believe it was causal in me being unable to develop close friendships since.

Best Day:
The birth of my daughter (the light of my life)
When I got my GED at 37, after dropping out at 16.
Petting a stingray (I cried like a baby)

Worst Days (in order):
When I got a call from my eventual 3rd husband's boss saying his truck had rolled over 5 times and they couldn't find him anywhere for 6 hours.
When my 2nd husband died alone from an alcohol related seizure.
When I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis
When I got a call from my 3rd husband's boss saying he'd just been arrested on a DWI and had been terminated. (We're still living through that one).

Man, do I know how to pick em or what?
