Tom I think most of us with dogs winced reading Bonnie's topic. And chuckled a bit too, knowing how dogs can be a real handful at times. So it's a funny thread but not funny, too. Hope that makes sense. Dogs are like children sometimes!!! My Golden Retriever was a real challenge the first 6 months and by age 1 she began to calm down around us. But the minute the doorbell rings, she's so hyper. Loves company so much we have to put her in another room. She's 4 now and still acts this way. I always say it could be worse - she could be mean. She's the opposite so sweet so won't leave company alone. And she's done her share of damage, mainly deep scratches to all my interior stained woodwork and doors (someday we'll have to sand them down and restain/poly them) but yikes nothing what Bonnie described. I think I'll go give Hope a hug now....
