Homing beacon found!
The hurricane homing beacon that was missing from Miami (believed to have disappeared around the mid 90's) has been found just off Cape Hatteras. There was some speculation that the beacon had moved or been destroyed between 2000 through 2002 since there were no hurricanes drawn near the beacon during those years, but in 2003 the signal reappeared. The Dare County Tourist Bureau has agreed to finance its recovery and return it to its rightful owner scheduled for return prior to June 1. The DCTB has hired Dyn-O-Mat of Jupiter, Fl. to protect the area until its safe removal. The Dade County Tourist Bureau could not be reached for comment.
Don't blame me Widremann started it.

Please....
for the love of all things good and decent, I respect humor, but hope this is not the start of the same junk-a-thon that I left at storm2000.com to come here.
I love a good joke, but if THIS board begins to fill up with more DYNO musings, then that will certainly detract from a lot of folks' hard work here- long before I ever showed up.
Just my input.
Thanks....

Don't let it fill up with "DYNO musings" or for that matter rockreaders with their bluemoons & doomsday hurricanes garbage.Evidence of this bluemoon stuff has surfaced here, its like a plague that needs to be stopped pronto.
Outerbanker was just reporting the incident & the DYNO people were mentioned unfortunately, not Outerbanker's fault.
These rockreaders however...TROLL PATROL keep a weary eye on these folks. They've already ruined one board for alot of people.

Rock Readers
What did we do wrong? We just have a way of forecasting
out of the norm.We are trying to help people be prepared.
"Mia" Is out on all the boards telling everyone to ban us.
For what? We have never trashed any boards. Some people
find us very entertaining. Please chill out. People tend to
fear things they dont understand. I have been tracking hurricanes
since 1983 when I moved to Fla.We recieve no Money for our
Predictions! We don't offend anyone."Mia" Get A Life And Go
Cry To Hurricane City,Where You Post every hour About The
Rock Readers!
PS:I see you pulled a couple of my post allready!
Why? Please Explain? Thank You: Storm Man:

Storm Man,
You've got no evidence to back up your science fiction forecast, your other colleagues are on "other boards" saying that everything is going to develop. The stuff in the GOM is a TD,the area in the ATL will develop, off the coast of Africa Alex is forming..BTW..there was not a cloud to be found off the coast of Africa the day one of you made that statement, according to you guys everything is going to develop.C'mon man you are insulting the intelligence of people that have been tracking these storms since they were little kids, some people here are Professionals.
It seems to me & quite a few other people I might add that your main purpose is to say stupid things to get a response & therefore causing chaos on the boards.Nobody wants that, create your own message board & discuss this science fiction garbage there.
The scary part is you actually believe this nonsense.
BTW... Are you the same people that were waiting to hitch a ride on a comet of few years back.

Hurricane Hollow forum is a serious one in which many pro mets post their anaylisis and discuss the facts that will guide the next hurricane season and to come to this forum to post nonsenses like that Storm-Man is not the right way to do it.So please if you are going to post about real science about hurricanes do so but otherwise this forum is not the right one for you.

Also some of our members are amateurs and this kind of stuff just confuses some people. They come to this forum for serious information and to learn.cycloneye wrote:Hurricane Hollow forum is a serious one in which many pro mets post their anaylisis and discuss the facts that will guide the next hurricane season and to come to this forum to post nonsenses like that Storm-Man is not the right way to do it.So please if you are going to post about real science about hurricanes do so but otherwise this forum is not the right one for you.

We are just letting you know before the season begins. You are welcome to post here. Just do it seriously
Exactly you don't want a 1st timer to come here & read this guy's stuff & start boarding up his house because full moon on July 31st.

That may not happen, the thing is that these people's theories are laughable @ best & to to force it on those that know better is insulting & a waste a valuable board space.

More of my two-cents...
I just feel like a lot of people who have been here long before I showed up have put some effort in to this board being a place where people can go to learn. I do not know everything- but the collective efforts of this board allow me to expand my knowledge. Getting sucked into posts that are merely supposed to be funny will become a waste of time. However, once and again is ok by me. But I've been down the "DYNO" slippery slope and hope to never have to go there again. This board has too many people who really care to have anyone come along and mess that up. I am not wanting people to get upset, just that they keep it real here. Because when all hell breaks loose on some coastal city/region, we'll all be in it together. We'll need all the facts possible- not a bunch of jokes and such.
That's all from me on this matter. So far, so good. The patrol is on it.

Yea!! what he said... LOL!! seriously though, he is right.. we both had to deal with that at other places before finding this board.. This is a place for serious discussion on the tropics, something everyone here loves.. Whether your here because you are fascinated with hurricanes, or because you like to chat and learn, everyone can enjoy it but not with that kind of garbage.. Just glad the good guys are on it..
