Check out the link below. It is the GFS animation from tonight's 00UTC run. Towards the end of the loop- once all the garbage gets out of there weather-wise, look how the Bermuda high really settles in and even links up some with another high SW of the Azores. Then- look south of the two high centers- notice the swath of trade winds set up going all the way across the Atlantic.
Indeed, we are getting closer and closer to that magical time of year...

Yes it is transition time in the tropics from the northern latitud systems to the deep tropics ones like tropical waves.It wont be too far away in time when we will see the first tropical wave analized by TPC.
