No.

I make enough money right now where I am. I'm satisfied with my job. I love where I live (hush, David!) I'm single. I have no kids. I have no spouse or significant other. My parents are deceased.

So, I don't need a lot of money and if I died tomorrow, those few friends in my will (Tim? I need your last name.) would mourn my passing but have a few extra dollars in their bank accounts . I seriously doubt that working an overseas job is going to offer anymore of a benefit to anyone who knows me personally (I'm mentioning that because IIRC didn't Thomas Hamill take the job because of his wife's medical bills?).

Furthermore -- high pay vs. job satisfaction and a cute blonde boss? I'll take the latter, thank you very much. :)

The daily commute from here to there is a bit out of the 1 mile radius I'm prepared to travel.

I voted no, but it was a serious consideration last year when I was out of work! Of course at that time it did not seem as dangerous as it has obviouosly become now. Thank you, but we will "scrape by" on scaps if necessary before I will put myself in a situation such as exists there right now.

Even more so a big NO...after those contractors were tortured, killed and burned! :(

I hear you are looking for the lone "yes" vote. I'm sorry but you will not find it here.

I don't get paid a bunch in my job, but my job is not extremely hazardous, either.

I would go if the money was right. Sure there is trouble, but I bet that the next suicide bomber in Israel kills more "workers" then the number contractors lost in Iraq. 3000 Americans went to work on 9/11 and never came home. I refuse to be afraid! It can happen anywhere!

Opinions my own.

Depending on the specifics I would consider it. One of those specifics would have to be my weapon of choice ;-)

I voted no because I have a wife and 2 kids I'd rather spend time with.

Money would not be a motivator for me to go to Iraq, but I can tell you from experience that there are a lot of folks over there (civilian and military) who are discovering wonderful things about themselves with or without compensation as they interact with those in need.

There are compelling stories we will never hear that will mean even more to them as they grow older than the dollars they may make while they are there.

Since Major combat has ended in Iraq, I would feel safe going there for the right money. I'm sure I would be more likely to die in say prison, Bogota or Jenin.
