#1 Postby rainstorm » Fri Apr 16, 2004 4:40 am

what are you waiting for?? everyone knows iran is funding the terrorists.
are we going to continue to give them a free pass? or will you let them know there is a price to pay to fund terror?
i support the war on terror, but come on, stop being on the defensive!

Don't you hear the news? US are talking with Iranian authorities to stop war in Iraq. Guess they could hardly menace them right now...

The Iranians can help here, Paolo, because they and the Shia in Iraq are close allies. They may have some pull here to help broker the peace. But that doesn't mean they can be trusted. The government has proven in the past that they always have a dagger behind their back at an opportune time. The people of Iran aren't Anti-West, but the government doesn't want to lose their power

iran is not helping. iran simply wants to save their pal, al sadr. iran is funding terror in iraq, and they are funding terror by sending money to syria. they are also funding hamas and hezbollah. israel did the world a huge favor by taking out saddams nuclear plant in the early 80's. what are we waiting for?

Yes, they probably are trying to save al Sadr's hide. But I think now might not be the time to take out the plant. Let's get through this first and then we can scope out the next plan.
