Questions About Theresa Heinz-Kerry's Taxes

#1 Postby southerngale » Fri Apr 16, 2004 1:02 pm

As was pointed out here in the Nuze the other day, presumptive Democratic nominee John F. sKerry filed his taxes by himself, and as is his custom, he made his return public. The whole world now knows that Senator Kerry made just under $400,000 last year. But, as the commercial says, inquiring minds want to know where the big bucks are coming from. How about his wife's income taxes? President and Mrs. Bush filed jointly....not so with Kerry. And as predicted, here comes the controversy.

You certainly won't be surprised to learn that in past campaigns Kerry has called for the full disclosure of his opponent's income tax returns. So, now the shoe is on the other foot. People are asking him to disclose Mrs. Heinz-Kerry's return...and his wife doesn't want that at all. The reason? Well, they don't want everybody to see how wealthy she is, or how much tax she paid (or didn't pay.) Maybe they don't want the public to know how much John Kerry's wife gives to charities .. and which charities and non-profit organizations benefit from her millions. Remember, we learned a few weeks ago that Teresa Heinz Kerry gave big bucks to the group that funds that leftist group of 9/11 widows that have been slamming Bush for about a month now.

Kerry claims that Bush is for the rich, and has introduced the class warfare argument. Now he gets to pay the piper. According to a quote from Drudge, it is said that his wife told staffers "This is my life, my business, not John's." Well wait a minute. Didn't John Kerry recently place a $6 million loan on a home owned by he and his wife .. a loan to fund his campaign? How did Kerry get that loan? The interest payments alone amount to more than he makes. How is that loan going to be paid off? Would a look into Teresa Heinz Kerry's finances shed some light?

Hey ... this is what happens when your hubby is running for president. She's going to have to eventually give in and do it, and then it's going to be awfully hard for sKerry to go around saying he feels poor people's pain.

Now imagine, just for a second, if Mrs. Bush didn't disclose her income taxes. The media and the Democrats would be rioting in the streets demanding to know what she was hiding. We'll have to see what happens on this one.

She has got to come clean, if her husband is trying for any shred of credibilty...this is going to be a fun one to watch. Hoping whatever the outcome , will hurt him.

that Kerry releases his Income Tax Return-it's because of Financial Disclosure Laws for Elected Public Officials in the Federal Government.
