I second (or third) that! David and his family deserve the best! I will be praying for them.

By the way... couldn't I just say I am smart and lower my class load down to 15 hrs? :)

Win some big bucks tonight Jacki! Hahaha.

Welcome to the PBS Azskyman.

Good Evening everyone!

David, Good luck on the job situation. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Rob, I hope you find something to do this weekend without your car.
Hey, maybe you can catch up with everyone else in posting! :o

Shannon, be careful on that long drive and have fun!!

Well, after getting over 3 inches of rain yesterday, today was warm and sunny. The yard is still a swamp though. We should see the sun again tomorrow before the rain returns Sunday.

Well, I just wanted to stop by the PBS...everyone have a great weekend!!! :D

Hey Breeze!...

#1046 Postby azskyman » Fri Mar 14, 2003 10:35 pm

Hi Breeze in Tennessee...

Your message reminded me that I am long overdue to send warm wishes to another great weather person in Tennessee, Steve Norris of Crossville.

Steve's one among many inspirations I have met over the years who has used his passion for weather to open doors for others and let the sun shine through.

Although confined to a wheelchair, he is one of life's great gifts. He is less burdened in life than most of us. For years he broadcast weather locally in Crossville and has a reputation there that is truly remarkable.

Because of your words here at the PBS, I am writing him tonight. A sort of "pass it on" from your earlier message.

As a fellow Tennessee resident, you might want to check out his work. I suspect you can do a search for Steve Norris weather and there he will be!

Thanks again.

Looks like rain here in the desert by tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Well everyone, like I said before it has been a long day. Barring any other major developing storms, I may post for a little while longer...then I am off to dream land.

Have a great Saturday everyone and be safe! :)

I'm not sure if I'll be checking anytime tomorrow afternoon, but our Collegiate Challenge trip to Norristown, PA is just about upon us. Saturday evening will be leaving from UWGB and heading to Norristown to do some building with the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity.

Good morn all! It's the weekend, everyone is sleeping in! I am supposed to be getting ready for work, but there is a Dense Fog Advisory! Thank God! I am exhausted! If I worked all of my scheduled hours today and tomorrow, I would have 52 hours this week! Talk about working! (And somehow I still find time to post on here!) So I am home until 10- unless they freak out and call back before then! (Which has happened)

Shannon- Have a grrrrreat trip!

And everyone else, Have a Super Saturday!

Morning everyone. Today is Parade day...gotta tune up the ol bagpipes (no sexual reference there!)
Gotta have some breakfast with green milk and get ready for a beautiful day...into the 50s.

Since I'm car-less until Monday, I guess I'll be out in the 'yard' trying to clear the lawn of the 4-8 foot drifts still around. I might have to snowblow the yard to recycle the snow into melting faster!

Today gets into the 50s and tomorrow into the 60s....man i'd be cruising out in that bigtime, but this time of year is the most gnarliest on the roads....puddles and muck, salt and cinders and your car gets dirty 2 miles from the car wash....another pet peeve!

Welp...gotta have food...this 9-5 schedule is killing me! 9pm-5am that is! Seems like I'm on the grandpa sleeping schedule lately...oh well its all good!

The eye did ok last night, so tonight it'll prolly kill me in the morning...we'll see. Vision blurred but half of that yesterday. Its so weird to have vision be like this and slowly sharpen back to normal in about 10 days....its kind of neat knowing at least it comes back! lol

Have a great day everyone...see you in chat tonight, barring any other emergency.

lol does it take people like us to forecast YOUR weather anymore? lol Seems that way...even here. But I guess the weather can never be pinned down to being exact....maybe someday we'll get closer, but I'll take a warm up for now! lol I'll be hot on the trail watching the target areas for today later on and into the evening. Might be blue skies now, but watch for the renegade unsettled thummer that will come through.....I'm standing by! lol Be back in a jiffy.

Have fun Shannon and stay safe!! :)

Good morning everyone. I am on cloud 9 after the Lady Bears "spanked" the Creighton Lady Jays. They play in the conference final today @ 3 and you can bet I will be all ears! I hope they trounce Indiana State and if they do... they will be in the Big Dance!

Also could be some severe weather today so I will checking on that. Plus... it is a beautiful day and I need to enjoy it as well. Man... what a busy first full day of Spring Break!

Have a great day everyone. :multi:

Well...time to go outside in this heatwave...its now 38 degrees and do some lawn snowblowing lmao. I'll be back in a little bit and be on and off mostly all day. I'm still monitoring storms across the south...mainly from mid-south TX, sporadically across GA and SC...the main bulk of these huge storms are off into Mexico south of Brownsville and also a mega clump of storms SE of Florida. With daytime heating these will popcorn up all across the region, so keep an eye out....it could be a 1-2-3 punch later on.

Good afternoon, fellow Stovians! It's partly cloudy and 64 degrees
with sun at the moment! Here's a few boxes of KKs to make
everyone feel better!

Chad, I hope your tooth is better. You needed strong medicine
just to sleep and feel better!

Garrett, enjoy Spring Break!

Jacki, I don't see how you work all of those hours and post as
much as you do! LoL, I work 40-plus hours, and, I only have the
evenings to post, during the week! We have internet at work,
but, the times that I can post on here are VERY rare - plus,
the computer with internet access is in the boss' office!! :o
But, you GO, girl!

Everyone have a good and safe evening! :ggreen:

Wooohooo into the low 40s here...I even got sunburned from being outside in the sun and clear skies! I was in a t-shirt and thong snowblowing my yard! What a site! woohooo! lmao Anyhow, I just chipped away at my side yard where there's a few iceburgs over 8 feet deep still. I can stand eye level with my roofline's gutters!

Time for some late lunch and a shower and I'll be floating around here awhile. We might pop 45 here on the hills....already mid 50s south of here and farther SW in the state they will crack 70 tomorrow! Unreal!
