Since 1900, there have been 43 Blue Moon Months durning Hurricane Season. Only in 4 of those seasons, did we have Double Wammies of Major Storms hitting the US...1909, 1928, 1945, 1955 all had Blue Moons durning Hurricane Season. My guess, has nothing to do with Hurricanes forming or not durning the Season. http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/Landsea/deadly/Table2.htm http://www.obliquity.com/astro/bluemoon.html

& How many years with no blue moons were there impacts from big hurricanes? MANY!
There is no scientific evidence to back this blue moon stuff up,no connection at all.
In reality blue moons are very common occuring every 2 & 1/2 years.
My personal opinion, this is a hoax just to get a rise /response from people,or some weird cult.
Best if left alone because 99.9% of us know better.

Re: Blue Moon Hurricanes!
ELENA was a near miss for us it sat offshore. It actually made landfall in LA. That date is my nieces Birthday BTW. I honestly think those instances were coincidence and nothing moreStorm Man wrote:Here Are Just Two Blue Moon Hurricanes:

Elena stalled off the west coast of Florida on and around August 31st, not July 31st.
