this is what i always feared. bush will follow his dad and leave the job undone. bush should demand unconditional surrender. bush has made saddam into hitler and yet, now, he wants to let him go into exhile and live a life of luxury with his 7 billion bucks. not only that, but with saddam in comfy exhile he can fund terrorism with his 7 billion bucks. i am certain bush will agree to give saddam a free pass and not attempt to imprison him. THIS IS DISGUSTING AND A HUGE DEFEAT FOR BUSH!!
further, this will allow saddam the freedom to threaten a return to iraq. what will happen if he leaves? will one of his henchmen replace him? we are a total joke.
the worst possible situation would be saddam going into exhile. why is bush giving him a free pass? bush said saddam is a rapist and murderer. based on bush's logic, should bush pardon all the rapists and murderers in the usa, give them a million bucks, and let them live in luxury?
i look for one last hope. we must have the spine to occupy iraq if he leaves. if we dont, we will subject the people of iraq to untold misery in a long civil war with hundreds of thousands of deaths. also, unless we occupy iraq, it will become a haven for terrorists everywhere. even if we do, saddam will always be in the shadows waiting to return, or worse, one of his sons will return. if you listened to tony blairs news conference last week a kuwaiti asked him what would happen to middle east stability if they allowed saddam to go into exhile. blair brushed it off.
this is a major defeat. even clinton in 98 insisted that milosevixh be brought to justice. why is our president so weak when we need a leader who will once and for all get the job done.

bush senior left the resistance to saddam to be butchered in 91, will bush jr do the same thing? exhile for saddam is total ignominious defeat. as i said, even clinton brought milosevich to justice
