Prelim research results: climo intensity forecasting

#1 Postby ncweatherwizard » Fri Apr 30, 2004 8:48 am

This is kind of incomplete work; however, my advisor wanted me to present at the school's research symposium today, so this is the powerpoint presentation that briefs the research. I need to add some slides for the online version, which I will be able to do after today; I have a limited time to present today, so I needed to cut down on the slides, and I'm running off one copy of the document.
Please note that the research is still ongoing, and the results of the presentation are for experimental use. I've yet to even really touch vertical shear, which is very critical in intensity forecasting.

Presentation can be found at http://www.nencweather.com and scroll down to the tropical weather section about halfway down and click on the powerpoint presentation.
