today's run...

headed NE of Decatur IL to a location E of Maroa IL around 4:30 PM CDT to see if the sky would kick off any surprises. no severe wx observed although did catch a nice shelf cloud. some CC static heard on radio but no lightning observed...

headed E to due N of Decatur by about 5 miles a short time later to get the following...

update... headed out around 8 PM to do an errand and took a detour to capture some cool looking post event non severe cloud features.
