Benign weather for the upcoming week?
After a rather stormy period these last few weeks across the continental U.S. it looks as if we may have a prolonged period of nice weather for much of the nation. This will begin tomorrow across the Central Plains and work eastward into the east by Tuesday. As a whole, the next week looks considerably less active.

With potential downsloping winds off the Appalachian Mountains this weekend ... the 18.3ºC maxima may translate to near 90º around the GSP region, but north (into the MA states), the downslope component MAY AID in bringing that region into the low/mid 90's by next weekend...
