It appears the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix and most low laying desert areas) will crack the 100° mark ALL week, we'll be in the lower to mid 80's for the rest of the week 8-) Went from a fire in the PBS during the late evening hours to crankin' up the A/C, don't ya just LOVE spring time

Watch Out!

FCST DSCSN: RDG WL PRVL THRU WK FR WRM/DRY WX W/LGT WNDS. HWVR, MJR PRBLM CUD DVLP AS RDG SHFTS E W SW FLO DVLPG OVR AZ. BY MON GFS HS SW H5 WND OF 50KT OVR MTNS WHCH CUD BRNG HI WNDS TO AREA ALG W VRY LO RH WHCH CUD RSLT IN HI FIRE HZD.
See, I told you I could put a discussion in contractions :grrr: Bottom line is this. We have the ridge slowly shifting east later this week and a trough
dropping south along the coast. The pattern shifts eastward with time only slowly so we will remain in the SW wind gradient between the two for most of next week. As the flow will be out of Mexico and the heights fall only slowly te winds will be hot and dry with RH values dropping below 10%. Expect to see Red Flags starting Sunday.
