Well, I have mailed a letter to my friend Emily. Nothing harsh; just to figure out what is going on! I have the strangest feeling that this will turnout positive; however, I cannot get my hopes up high!

Again, this is the first "girlfriend/dating relationship" I have ever been in, so I am still learning the ropes.

I don't know why this is so hard for me today..

I'm ecstatic that she came back to school.. But I am also sad, worried, scared, lots of things..

Well dad's home tonight...he's doing ok...as for me I'm still convalescing here at home...continue to pray for both of us, dad as he recovers and me as I begin what could be a long legal battle...

First I have a question for the moderators/Admin, why is this thread not "Sticky" anymore?

Okay, as you may have seen on my previous posts in this thread, I started dating this girl named Emily. Lately, she had been distant. I wrote her a letter, the old-fashioned way, last week about whether or not she still liked me or not, and whether she wanted to go to a concert with me, which I bought tickets for her gift last Christmas.

Well, she e-mailed back early this morning, and the truth came out: she has had a boyfriend for awhile, and the reason she was distant was that she was afraid I would get mad or something. :crying:

She still likes me as friend, and still desires to go to the concert with me.

It is not necessarily the best news, but at least having a friend (who can start a friend network) is just as grand.

I don't know whether it is the prayers from my S2K friends and /or my own, but I don't feel extremely depressed about the situation with my GENERAL friend Emily.

Yes, she is still a friend!

If I am depressed about anything, it is the fact that she feels bad (took care of that by writing her a positive E-mail) she upset me, and the fact that I may of interferred.

Good friends will stand by each other through many different situations. Emily sounds like she could be one of those. And obviously you are capable of that too.

Hi everyone,

I went and filled out a few job applications yesterday (Monday). Two were of the electronic type where you have to fill them out on a computer kiosk type thing. The other is a paper one, which I will be turning in later today. Wish me luck! :-)

Well we go to court this Tuesday morning at 1000...that is when the driver of the truck is I guess going to contest the citation he got for not having insurance...

Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers about my computer, it ends up that it worked out well in the end. See my thread for details.

I ask for prayers on two fronts this evening. One is that I do well on my new job, I made some dumb mistakes yesterday; and I hope that I can learn from them and stop making those kinds of mistakes.

The other thing I ask for prayers for is that my mom's temp job is shortly coming to an end. Then she will have to go looking again. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she goes to find another job!

Everything is clear after this afternoon's tests...now my focus shifts to getting the fillings tomorrow am and then for a week or so nothing to worry about til 7/2...thats when I have an appt. with a neurologist...
