Die-ins staged across Britain

March 17 - British activists tried to keep antiwar momentum high by staging die-ins across the country Monday and vowing to step up protests if war starts with Iraq. Dozens of activists smeared themselves with fake blood, pretending to be dead, while others crashed London International Petroleum Exchange, briefly halting trading.
