Bfez... you put Baked Potato as your subject instead of a choice! :)

I cant stand that they had to make changes to something as simple as potato's french fries. I just laugh when I hear that phrase anymore. People arent going to go to McDonalds and ask for an order of Freedom Fries...its over the top. I wonder what they'll call and change in the years to come when another nation disrespects our values. Ah well...I'll always love my french fries and if need be I'll always keep the french and freedom out of it.

It's all in fun, Rob
Just a way of not saying the "french" word.

P.S. When I order fries now, I do say "freedom" fries and most people just smile.

I know B, but for me its too corny. I cant bring myself to say it since it isnt 'official' either...its just an assumed and borrowed name for certain people and places that serves them so they can one up the French.

I know...I'm just not selective in asking for 'freedom fries'...sorry, just not my cup of tea. True, I am an american and served my country, but some things just arent meant to be spoken for, by using some made up word to get back at another country for what they dont comply with. And also true.....to each their own.

I voted for the fries ... (Mostly what I get with lunch, whether it would be cheeseburgers or chicken strips from Ryan's Steakhouse with Fries)

Baked Potatoes with steaks - yum

Heavy on the Mashed Potatoes with tonight's roast beef dinner from Picadilly's Cafeteria!
