It really is bad... I pay $1.69 for regular. Im so glad I have my little car

and not a gas guzzler.
BUT if you think we got it bad. I have friends who are farmers in Zimbabwe, they have practically shut there whole farm down... this is from an article they sent me.
[quote]However, fuel imports by the parastatal National Oil Company of Zimbabwe would be distributed to government departments, institutions, public transport operators and the agricultural sector at the state controlled price of Zim $450 a litre for petrol and Zim $200 a litre for diesel.
The two-tier system means that private sector motorists would pay the new pump prices for petrol of Zim $1,170 per litre and diesel at Zim $1,060 per litre announced by the oil companies yesterday.
[\quote] That is Zim dollars by the way.. but still, these people earn NOTHING! My poor friends have just about lost everything, because as the gas prices are outrageous the transportation costs go up on basic food items like bread and milk.. so there cost of living is exhorbetant... its about time they start using totally electric cars and trucks, we cant be played the fool by the oil tycoons any longer!
