I was rushing around town much of yesterday as you all know (I was here at 2:20pm having gotten off early). I got home at 3:30, and at 5pm started cleaning myself up. By 6:10pm, I had bathed and was getting dressed. I wore a black tuxedo jacket and matching pants, a garnet (somewhere between a red and maroon) vest (cumberbund), a white shirt and back shoes and socks. I was ready to leave by 6:45, but of course mom wanted pictures first LOL

Writeup of Prom...May 7, 2004
Well my senior prom was last night...I thought I would write up a summary of the night...
I was rushing around town much of yesterday as you all know (I was here at 2:20pm having gotten off early). I got home at 3:30, and at 5pm started cleaning myself up. By 6:10pm, I had bathed and was getting dressed. . So we spent about 10 minutes getting pictures, and went out to the car. I did not leave home until 7:10, got to Nathalie's (my date's) house at 7:15, and boy was I stunned! She looked absolutely gorgeous! Her dress basically matched my outfit, and I had bought a white sweetheart rose corsage and a matching boutonierre (hopefully I spelled that right). More pictures took about 15 to 20 minutes and at 7:30, we were off. We arrived at 7:45, and sat down to wait for things to start. Dinner was turkey or roast beef, red russet potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, salad and rolls. They had 2 chocolate fountains there, which are fountains that instead of water coming out of them, you have chocolate. The chocolate will freeze on whatever it touches if you leave it long enough, as Nathalie soon found out. At 9:30, the dancing started. Most of the music was hip-hop type stuff. Some of it was more romantic for couples such as me and Nathalie. The king was Seth Eckler, one of my church friends, and the queen was Emily Tierney (someone I know from a couple of classes). We did not sit down too often, but I had to take a couple of breaks for pictures and other things. It finally wrapped up at about midnight ET this morning, and we just went home afterwards as we were both really tired. For some reason, I don't think my relationship with Nathalie is over yet though...I really think she likes me
...it's quite possible she's the one I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with but I'm not sure...anyway, there's the story...I'll post pics on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon...

Sounds like a great time, Jeremy. It is SO nice to be with someone you enjoy as well as someone who enjoys YOU! I could tell it was one of those special times for you.
Enjoy them and remember them. The clock ticks away quickly. I still remember walking out of the gymnasium after my graduation and celebrating! That was 40 years ago this June!!!
