As the people before me said, LETS ROLL!!!

In my opinion the war will start very soon, possibly by tomorrow or Wednesday, Friday at the very latest.

if the choice is between exhile or not going to war i would choose not going to war. i feel exhile for saddam, his sons, and his govt would be an unmitigated disaster

Imho the WOMD that saddam has can and would eventually be sold to terror organizations to be used against us. I think by taking saddam out now rather than later we are sending a message to the world that we will not be held hostage by the fear and intimidation that these dictators thrive on. I also think there are many more like him but one at a time is better than none at all. I also think Osamas days are numbered if he isn't already dead. Complacency is a rather dangerous attitude to have with the way the world is today. If we try to do this with diplomacy it will only give him more time to lie and deceive the whole international community. As for the nations that oppose action, they have selfish motives and most of them are monetary. Don't get me wrong, I hate the fact of going to war and losing innocent lives but if we don't we will lose alot more in the long term. September 11th must never happen again and this is one step in a series of many to assure it won't..GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!!

Sincerely
Johnathan

Yes, but the problem will be taking him out. We'll never kill him, or Osama. Look at the futile efforts and wasted time looking for them once already. He'll be right back in the drivers seat and we'll be right back where we started again 10 years down the road.

If we offer Saddam exile, I think we should give him 12 hours, 24 MAX. It doesn't take long to get on a plane and leave the country. Of course, he will reject exile!!

We shall see, I think this time our resolve is stronger. I also think, as you said yourself, his Military is at diminished capacity and they may turn him in themselves   Either way we will get him and Osama too, if he isn't dead already. I respect your opinion just giving you mine

Nope...you're reading into that incorrectly. While there are claims of WOMD over there, what have we really turned up? A few satellite images of trucks? A few inspecters finding empty shells? I have yet to believe that, if Saddam DOES use chemicals that he'll only use them over on his own land. He could care less. He knows he cant reach the US with all the garbage he spouts. All we're doing is subjecting ourselves to an environment where our kids dont want to be. So what if Saddam plays in his country? We are just trying to make peace and be spread thin too many places in the world. Are we to drop Korea? Afghanistan? Somalia? All of these places and many others pose an equal threat to anyone along their borders, but why do we have to step in all the time? Thats what I'm asking here. Also Saddam has yet to be proven he HAS all of this and will USE it. When I was over there the same crap was also presented and he never did a thing but send those 'new' scuds all over....no one banked on that either. I'm not defending this evil ass, but we have to truly know whats out there and not just assume what he can and cannot do just to benefit a few million people to be satisfied that we are a powerful nation that wont back down.

If there are any doubts in your mind that he has these weapons then i dont know what to say... Guess you will see later.

Am i also led to beleieve by reading your last post that its ok for him to use the bios and chemical weapons over there and on other countries, just as long as its not in our country? Thats like saying you saying Someone is killing everyone in your next store neighbors house, but its ok as long as they dont come over here to shoot you in your house...

While I respect your right to you opinion I think you're dead wrong.

What did you expect them to find? Stockpiles of chemical weapons? He consistently denied having them for years yet when he was caught red-handed years ago he all of a sudden admitted it. Even Hans Blix doesn't believe that he has disposed of them. I take by the last part of the above statement that it is ok if he has them and uses them on his own people.

All we're doing is subjecting ourselves to an environment where our kids dont want to be....

Of course they don't want to be there but I bet the vast majority understand why they are there and support the action about to be undertaken.

This is exactly the sentimate that allowed Adolph Hitler to build an army and devastate Europe. Germany wasn't allowed to rearm after WWI but the same complacent attitude allowed just that. There is no doubt that he has these weapons, whether he will use them on this occasion is yet to be seen. However, he has used these weapons on multiple occasions, to suggest otherwise is sticking your head in the sand.

Naw Dennis...just saying that he likes to test his weapons over there to see what they're capable of. Had he really wanted to use those weapons, dont you think we'd have been gassed all the time in 91?

Chad why must you and others continually belittle my personal remarks on all of this? If you dont like what I post then delete them. I am simply speaking my mind and dont need to be personally attacked for what I say...whether right or wrong. Sorry, I'm not perfect. And as for weapons, you all can go on and on about Saddams womd, but the fact remains, he didnt use them on us when were over there, and he hasnt since. So until you show me proof otherwise, I'll continue to plead my case as I see it fit. Thank you.

As long as there's a post from anyone that I disagree with I will respond with my views. That doesn't make it a personal, negative or an attack at all. We just happen to disagree.

I never accused anyone...it just seems like its pick on me night and you guys are having a good laugh about it. Seems like thats not what this site is all about. I'm trying to be open and honest and to the point on my expressionalism and all you guys do is take it down a notch and paint it darker than it needs to be. I can speak my mind here, thats the whole beauty of this forum and this site, but right now I'm having a hard time doing this answering to people that view me as something that I'm not. I really dont appreciate all the negativity cast my way. You wouldnt either...so I suggest dropping it all together so I can get on with other aspects that are equally, if not more important to me.
