Blame China as well. They have a hand in this.

LOL, I bet it would have been funny. And, unfortunately, it is so true.

Regular here is $1.79. Premium is now over $2.00 in some areas. I love the analogy Anthony!

In all seriousness though, gas prices here are about $2.25 a gallon for the regular octane, $2.35 a gallon for the middle octane; and $2.45 a gallon for the high octane fuels. Too high if you ask me. I don't know how people can afford them.

OPEC

#18 Postby george_r_1961 » Mon May 10, 2004 2:22 pm

After American lives were lost in Desert Storm liberating Kuwait the Kuwaitis, as part of OPEC, seem to be more than happy to cut production to keep prices up. Not to mention the lives lost invading Iraq so all in that part of the world could be safe. Bunch of ungrateful varmints :grr:

Paid $2.37.9 in California for mid grade gasoline over the weekend. $2.21.9 on the road home.
Not far from $2.50 out this way and $3 per gallon is not out of the question either.

$1.999 for the low grade here. I guess it could be worse, but it could be a LOT better.
