Well then it is a matter of time the military action but other considerations may come into the final decision to begin and one of them is the weather because of the sandstorms so this may delay the war if by after the 48 hours there are problems with the weather.

If he goes to France, ALL of Europe will come unglued. That is not the place for him. I can think of a few places that are though... let's see... coffin, graveyard, morgue... get the picture? ;)

Saddam is scared to death, people; he is afraid that his own military MIGHT kill him and give up Iraq, so he now places his sons...(what ARE their names? E-bay, O-may, Arry-lay, Urley-kay?) in personal charge of specific areas, along with the "GasMaster" who killed all those Kurds closest to Basra and our forward positions.

Bush should have announced unconditional surrender, but IMO was trying to put on a public display of "we gave Saddam one last ultimatum" to those UN nations that do not support the war. Military action will begin in a few days and hopefully this will be a quick victory for our troops.

Funny thing, one of his sons said to CNN, "I repent!" They BUSTED up laughing, they said he doesn't have good use of the English language, maybe he was trying to say "I regret?"

Let's face it-any way you look at this, it is a losing proposition for ALL concerned. If he surrrenders, he loses billions in personal wealth and the means to continue his rape of Iraq. If he doesn't and chooses to fight, which IMO he will, he does the same and we lose the precious lives of who knows how many of our troops, our sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, friends and loved ones. We will ALL LOSE whichever way this goes unfortunately.

UNFORTUNATELY IT IS A NECESSARY EVIL FOR US TO GO TO WAR AS WE HAVE IMO EXHAUSTED EVERY OTHER AVENUE AVAILABLE TO US TO GET SADDAM TO COMPLY WITH THE PREVIOUS UN ACCORDS!
