Sarin attack in Iraq

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Mon May 17, 2004 9:36 am

From CrisisAlertNet mailing list:
"CBS news reporting a roadside bombing in iraq containing Sarin."

Hmmmmm....no WMD's, eh?

I am surprised CBS is reporting this too.

I checked FoxNews and it's there also but no further details yet.

If I forward something from CrisisAlertNet to you guys, I won't change anything. The guy who sent it must have been watching CBS news. Most of the time, we (the CAN posters) try to included a news source when something breaks unless it's being sent via text message from the actual crisis, in which case, the witness to the event is the source.

Right. I get the alerts too, but you tend to see them before I do :)

NO, I was just referring to See-BS's left leaning tendencies, not to the fact that the Sarin Attack is bogus. Also, just got an alert that as per US Military personnel, there were no casualties in this attack.

I'm glad that there weren't any casualties, but there would be lastling affects of the sarin, correct?

The three cable channels including liberal CNN are live with medical experts and what not. A bit disturbing to say the least. Only a small bit of it can kill and it's odorless.

Yup, you know I'm gonna check out all possible sources. It's my job as the resident myth-debunking duck here at S2K. :)

This would appear to me as if we are entering a more desperate phase by these terrorists.

PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS!!!! NO MORE WALKING ON EGG SHELLS!!! SEE WHAT IT HAS GOTTEN US!!!!! STOMP THE EVER LIVING CRAP OUT OF THOSE FOOLS!!!

I'm sorry if some innocents are injured or killed, BUT THIS IS WAR AND IT NEEDS TO BE DECLARED AS SUCH!!!!

Next report we get could be hundreds or thousands of US personell killed by the non-existent WMD's since they obviously have the ability to lob mortars full of the agent into the middle of the green zone!!!!

FULL FORCE!!! FULL AHEAD!!!!

I think it's an isolated incident(unless something else is found). The two components for sarin did NOT mix. If they had, then it would have officially been a sarin attack. David Kay was on MSNBC a few minutes ago and said he didn't think the insurgents knew sarin was contained in there and that they set up the IED with the general intent of what they normally do, killing 1 or 2 soldiers.

Just because it didn't mix, makes it not a chemical weapons attack? So if the planes for some reason had missed the WTC, it wouldn't have been an attack because they failed?

U.S.military has confirmed otherwise as I understand it. I don't care if it was unintentional or not(I DOUBT SERIOUSLY IT WAS UNINTENTIONAL!!!) Even if it was unintentional by those that did this it still SHOWS WHAT WE HAVE KNOWN ALL ALONG-THERE ARE WMD'S IN IRAQ AND SYRIA AND THERE ARE THOSE WHO KNOW HOW TO USE THEM-whether this particular attack was by those that didn't know there was Sarin present.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
