Doesn't look like it develops into much.

Oh well, I'd rather the thing in the Caribbean develop anyway.

I'm confused, LOL

I was thinking Invest 90 is Invest 90E in the Eastern Pacific.

Sorry.

Brent it was my fault to not put the L for the invest 90 as you said there is a 90E at the EPAC. :)

Very interesting system to observe. Let's see what happen with it, althoght there's still strong winds on the upper levels, but they are forcasted to retreat to the north. Early tropical action in this month of may still a few days into the start of the season. But one thing is for sure... if it moves northeast and combine with the conditions that are afecting us at this moment it would be a very wet weekend here.

I agree about Puerto Rico getting plenty of rain indirectly from this. And I see this system developing in a slow pace and not a strong system I see here only a TD or a weak Tropical storm if all conditions are marginally right.

http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/tc_pages/tc_home.html

I dont know what is causing the delay of NRL to post the 90L invest up because every time the models begin to plot the invest goes up in a few minutes after that but there must be a problem with the site there because the information about 90E for the EPAC system has not been updated this morning.

I think that the delay about posting up the invest at NRL may be that the weak low is still inland in Nicaragua and until it gets out to the water they wont put the invest up.

At least the Navy knows there is no imminent threat of this system and hence their delay in the invest............MGC

The models forecast this to develop; I my self would like them talking about that.

MGC this will not become a CAT 5 as quickly as you need it to but it is a broad low pressure area in the tropics dumping heavy rains over mountainous or hilly terrain & could cause injury or loss of life hence the STDS.

MW on another thread explained the reasons for issuing such a statement.

& what if the delay in the invest is due to technical problems or some other reason how do you know the reason the invest isnt issued yet is because "the Navy knows there is no imminent threat of this system and hence their delay" I mean you cant be serious when you make these statements you've made here lately.

It'd be nice to see our 1st system of the season. I hope it ends up calling Florida home.

Yes this is a wishcast lol.. We need the rain..

Everyone here will sometimes have different opinions on certain Disturbances, storms etc. The key is to present them with respect and respect everyone else in the process. So far everyone has done a pretty good job with that. Thanks for doing it the S2K way. Lets keep up the good JOB!!!!!

I agree Johnathan.. Respectfully is a way to get your point across. Plus it can hopefully prevent an argument from developing later
