I am officially a SKYWARN Spotter!!!!!! Got my ID card and Certificate today!!!!!!!! :)

CONGRATULATIONS JOHNATHAN!! :D

Welcome to the Skywarn spotters!!!! :D

I have my same Skywarn sticker that I received in March 1996 after certification on my car! 8-) Spotter guide has a picture of the F5 tornado that tore through Wichita Falls, TX on April 10, 1979...what photo does your's have on the cover? :wink:

I guess the budget has changed lol. I got a beaufort wind scale a hail chart, an ID card, a sticker and a letter :lol: :lol: :lol:

Before long S2K will be known as a Skywarn haven!!!!

Congratulation Johnathan!!! You got a lot more than we did. We got a certificate, a bookelet with the f5 tornado on it and a handout and that was it besides bumper stickers that id us as skywarn.

They are just pieces of paper the wind scale and hail chart :lol: . I had my certificate laminated and my ID card. I wanteda big fat book. I am going to go to the other courses in Ruskin soon!! :)

There was such a large turnout at our class in March that they ran out of everything ... cards, certificates, booklets.

Ever since I completed the class, we haven't had so much as couscous size hail or anything! Oh well, no news is good news.
