Ouch! But the largest hailstone still remains in Nebraska at 7" Diameter (after possible melting... honestly, who'd run out and get it when hail almost the size of soccer balls is falling?)
Also.... it should be noted that a hailstone near 4.25" falls to the ground at approx. 110 mph. ...and normally the hailstones aren't round such as this...
