Looks like another busy night tomorrow.
Local reports here on the south side of the Metro reported heavy rain and tons of lightning. Out where I live near Gretna (SW Omaha) we had winds up to 51mph. Papillion and Bellevue (SE Omaha), including Offutt AFB, received hail 1/2 to 3/4" With the heavy showers to our north (near Fremont), local rivers and streams were high. The Papio Creek in Bellevue (correct me Brian if that's the wrong name) just west of Offutt AFB was at it's bank at 6:30am today. At 3pm, the level was still higher than normal, but not nearly as high. Otherwise, nothing too exciting of note here in southern Omaha. At 6am this morning we did have a lot of fog from the precip which left most of the day until stratus ceilings. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
