THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
NEMAHA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA
RICHARDSON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA

* UNTIL 315 PM CDT

* AT 228 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE STORM WITH A POSSIBLE
TORNADO. THE MOST DANGEROUS PART OF THE STORM WAS LOCATED 5 MILES
WEST OF STELLA...OR ABOUT 18 MILES NORTHWEST OF FALLS CITY...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
STELLA
SHUBERT
AUBURN
NEMAHA
BROWNVILLE

THIS REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING PREVIOUSLY ISSUED FOR
THE WARNED AREA.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT. IF A BASEMENT
IS NOT AVAILABLE...TAKE COVER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST LEVEL
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. AVOID WINDOWS.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT MONDAY EVENING
FOR SOUTHWESTERN IOWA AND EASTERN NEBRASKA.

I know what you mean Snoop. I have grandparents in Falls City. Looks like this storm should go north of them.

There's some pretty good development just the SE of Hastings.

Also, there appears to be some building just south of that storm near Falls City, down to about St. Joesph, MO.

Ugh.

NUCKOLLS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA

* UNTIL 345 PM CDT

* AT 301 PM CDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO. THIS
TORNADO WAS LOCATED OVER EXTREME NORTH CENTRAL NUCKOLLS COUNTY...OR
ABOUT 23 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HASTINGS. THIS TORNADO WAS NEARLY
STATIONARY.

* THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO BE NEAR...
RURAL NORTHERN NUCKOLLS COUNTY THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN
INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO
COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
