Wow thats really interesting...but a with a pressure of 1013mb? That seems kinda high dont you think?

Well yes but we did have that one storm last year with a pressure of 1016 Mb but it was a storm at the time. So it is not really that unusual. For a Depression.

Well yeah..but im just always used to Storms starting with low pressures...near 1001mb. I always thought if the pressure of a storm was atleast above 1010mb...it couldnt really develop. But i guess im wrong...i learn something new everyday 8-)

It really depends on the pressure background. Pressure is not absolute...it's relative. At one point in it's lifespan...Andrew was a tropical storm with a minimum pressure of 1017MB (I think...maybe it was 1015...can't remember for sure now)...right before it turned west towards Florida.
