The Day After Tommorow a must see movie (special effects A+)

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu May 27, 2004 3:06 pm

Imagine a cargo ship navigating thru the streets of Manhattan and a hurricane moving from the artic ocean those are only 2 things of many that make this film a great one when special effects are concerned and for the reason of seeing those special effects I went to see it.I saw it this afternoon at a full attendance theater.I recomend it favorably.I know that there will be people who may not like it too much but that is democracy about. :)What are your opinions after you saw it?

Can't wait to see it but just read some reviews from people on yahoo movies and many of them said it was terrible. Hopefully these are all bogus reviews and even so if most people don't like it us weather buffs probably will.

Well everyone will have different opinions about the movie many that liked it and many others that didn't liked it.But after seeing the movie you will have your own opinion without outside reviews.

I'm seeing this movie tomorrow after I get off work ... first available showing ... I want to see the special effects in this movie, not the debate about global warming or global cooling ... just for the entertainment value.

I'll let everyone know what I think of the movie tomorrow night sometime.

Folks the special effects are A+ and that is why I went to see it not because of other considerations however I will not tell more as many will go to the theaters.

Wanted to see it a week from Sunday (matinee) but since my folks will be painting our townhouse for awhile...and since I don't want to go alone to see the movie...(nicer when you have some friends join you)...but having recently moved...well, I'll save some $$ by passing up the theater and just look forward to getting a video of it for a Christmas gift this year. I don't like crowds, anyway.
