OK...NOW what's growing in your Garden?
Warm weather has taken over most of the continental U.S.
We've got tomatoes, okra, onions, purple-hull peas, yellow
squash and cucumbers coming up! What's in YOUR garden?

Nope, no gazing pool. It's big enough for a little water feature but I haven't gotten one yet. I have several ornamental cyprus that look like bonsai, elephant ears, shasta daisies, hybrid tea roses, foxglove, tree peony, hydrangea, delphinium and some ornament grasses. I can't wait to see it at Summer's end. It's right off my patio so it's pretty cool just to go out there and relax. Keeps me out of trouble. lol Hey I dug the sod out by hand so you know how anal I am!!!!!!!

Wow, stormraiser, you really got it goin' ON!!
Hey - I've got a whole pack of Zuchinni squash,
unopened, 25 seeds, if you want them - I ordered
them from Gurney's, and, it's one of several things
that we didn't have any more room for. Just give
me a yell, if you need them!
Karan, we had a week and a half of rain, every
day, after sowing the seeds, and, the water
seemed to just pool in that
one row of peas (the other row came up ok)!
Purple-hull peas are very similar to black-eyed
peas, except, they're much tastier when cooked
fresh from the garden!

No veggies for me either. I've just added to my flower gardens more perenials such as;
Shasta Daisy
Catmint
Coral Bells
Spotted Nettle
Astilbe
I've also started to plant some annuals;
Marigolds
Geraniums
Lobelia
Impatiens
Wax Begonias
I also added another rose bush. I have most of my mulching completed, but I'll finish that up this weekend.

Annette - the astilbe are white. They are in the far back corner of my backyard which gets a glampse of sunlight for maybe an hour or two. I'm looking forward to seeing them bloom. I bought them in the fall last year. I also have planted there coral bells, spotted dead nettle, some kind of evergreen tree that likes part sun and two rhododendrons. I also have a plastic flower pots that I planted light pink impatiens.

Steph, those white astilbes are beautiful, and,
will compliment the coral bells and other
flowers! I may break down and order the pink
astilbe, next year, space permitting, of course...
Dang, Dennis - you surely have enough brussel
sprouts for us both! Darn! - throw some
butter on 'em, and, we're in hog heaven!!

LOL @ Chad! Now, you KNOW you can't
eat weeds! Better get out the Ortho
Weed-B-Gone!
I just accidentally bought a new container of it
at Lowe's...meant to get Ortho BUG-B-Gone!
Now...who's bright idea was it to make the containers
look almost identical, anyway? Don't they know that
I'm in TOO much of a hurry to READ the labels?
