I had the same thoughts,however,Saddam has been burrowed down now for several hours with the 'Boys'.My initial assesment is that the F-117s armed with Laser Guidance(accurate to within 2 ft),followed in the Tomahawks fired from the Red Sea and nailed the C&C Personel,the last to scramble down.That would soften the ability of Saddam to defend Baghdad with any coordination.
This is a Choas Strike,and one of preliminary value to Primary C&C.
The 'Show' has yet to start.However,the surgical,patient nature of these strikes shows our excellent Intelligence Network.Moreover,Saddam's aim to attack his own people/our Troops or Israel may have be severely dimishished...possibly irreperable.
Nicely done.Also,This should dispell any idea that the F-117 has limited Target engagement capability.It is quite an honor for the F-117 Crews to be the lead -in.They won't forget this soon,I assure you.Congrats Ladies and Gents!Bravo!
