Currently, FIVE active PDS TORNADO watches over the MO/ and WRN OH VLY.

PDS TORNADO/SVR TSTM watches are rare to begin with, but to have FIVE active at at the same time (6 total watches including WW 335 for ERN KY) is almost unprecedented.

Don't forget the Severe Thunderstorm Watch in the Carolinas. I believe that any severe weather watch is a particularly dangerous weather situation.

Ten Tornado Watches with seven of them PDS. One Severe Thunderstorm Watch. I have never seen this many watches EVER.

Just saw on the weather channel the solid red area in the ohio valley and midwest and had to rub my eyes. NEVER have I seen so many watches! The central Illinois radar is incredible:

I was right - that dang tornado watchbox has
moved east into middle-TN - line of storms moving
in a couple of counties back to the west! This old
gal is hitting the tub (gotta be CLEAN when you're
wandering around, lost! :eek: ) and checking out
the radar, afterwards!
