No acostumbro escribir mucho en este foro, debido a que mis conocimientos sobre meteorología son muy limitados y solo leo lo que escriben las otras personas para poder aprender un poco. Me llamó la atención ver un escrito en portugués. Tu ciudad y tu país son muy bonitos y las fotos son espectaculares. Aunque no hablo portugués, entendí "casi todo" lo que escribes, porque nuestros idiomas son bastante parecidos. No sabía que tuviesen tornados allá. Supongo que esto no sucede muy a menudo. Recibe un cordial saludo desde Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

I do not post very much on this forum, because my knowledge in meteorology is very limited and I only read what others post so that I can learn a little. Your post in Portuguese attracted my attention. Your city and your country are very beautiful and the fotos you posted are spectacular. Even though I do not speak Portuguese, I understood "almost" all of your post, because our languages are pretty much similar. I did not know you had tornadoes in Brazil. I suppose that this does not occur frequently. A cordial greeting to you from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

Gracias por la interesante información sobre los tornados en Brazil. Sabía que pueden ocurrir en cualquier parte del mundo, pero no pensaba que allá tuviesen tantos. Gracias a Dios, acá en Puerto Rico casi nunca se forman, por lo montañoso del terreno, y cuando se forman, duran muy poco. En donde más se forman es en el mar, cerca de la orilla, lo que llaman "waterspouts". Hasta pronto.

Thank God, here in Puerto Rico they almost never form, due to the mountainous terrain, and when they do occur, they do not last very long. They do form frequently in the ocean, near the shoreline, what they call waterspouts.
