Give it another shot.. There was a net split.. If you have an irc client you can get in that way too

well....I dont see a security warning pop-up box come up like i usually do when running windows, and while it does seem to connect to the server, no dialouge is displayed.

Well, you should be getting a security window.. Only thing I can offer right now is for you to dump the cookies and try again and see if you get the pop up.. Also make sure you dont have a pop up stopper running

Thanks for the help....I dont have a pop-up blocker running, i disabled it before trying to connect the first time, ill try clearing the cookies and see if that works.
