Incoming missiles to Kuwait, 3:38 am CST

#1 Postby streetsoldier » Thu Mar 20, 2003 4:38 am

Just saw on FoxNews, both a reporter in Kuwait City and LTC Oliver North in Marine deployment area donning gas masks/suits on-camera, as sirens in the background are blaring, announcing missiles incoming.

More as it develops.

Update as of 4:50 am, CST...Kuwait City and the Marine staging area has been targeted three times at this writing by Iraqi missiles they said they didn't have, with payloads they said they had destroyed...our Patriot IV systems shot down the second and third waves, but the first two missiles hit uninhabited space inside Kuwait. Bio/chem specialists are testing the air for agents, and will get the data from the downed SCUDS/Al Samouds as they can.

(Hans Blix already has lost any credibility he may have claimed, IMHO; they HAVE the stuff, and they're USING it!) :grrr:

This may just jack forward the timetable, since we aren't going to leave the U.S. Marines, Royal Marines and RAF people out there as "sitting ducks" much longer.

Streetsolider - thank you for the reports - unfortunately I had to finally go to bed at 12 midnight - life goes on here in the USA and I have to go to work today.

I guess Sadamn has his stockpile and Blix just never found it. Lets hope our Patriot Missiles intercept all the Scud missiles.

Please keep us updated - only thing I have at work is the internet.

Bre- can't believe you have been up that long!

At the latest report (8:00 am CST), the Kuwaiti Army's Patriot snuffed one of the missiles, and the other two were destroyed by a Marine Patriot installation.

Iraq's Minister of Information continues to insist that Iraq HAS no missiles...DUH!
