Just got a call from StreetSoldier and they are ok for the time being. They have had to turn off the comp for now due to power coming and going. Rain is horiantal, but at this time they are fine. Radar shows a storm just past them in Sikeston and a strong line coming in.
Everyone else please report in as you can!!

Ok here in Chicago...heavy rain/wind/ hail....bad delays at both airports but no twisters hit cook county. Several reports of possibly damage in far burbs (sounds like straight line wind mostly). I won't even start on reports coming in about Indiana
Edit: Local storm reports at bottom of this page

Update: there was a warning of a touchdown somewhere in Perry County (NNW of us, 60 miles away), but no further information has come in as of this writing.
WE have weathered the storm; tomorrow will be clear and warm, highs in the mid-80's...and we are having barbecue pork steaks, Bush's Onion Baked Beans (with the secret family recipe) and ho-made potato salad after the Memorial day observances.
NO, Annabelle (she be a ho') will NOT be making the salad.

Does Annabelle like the Bush's Beans dog?

Yes it was...
Everyone in my home is fine...we had a severe t-storm warning around 12:30am...then around 1am, the storms hit and were they ever fierce! The power was knocked out in my neighborhood, and we have tree branches down all over town, & one manufacturing plant had its roof torn off about 3 miles south of here, but me and my family are safe and in one piece.

I stand corrected. The damage a few miles south was determined to be an F2. No injuries that I'm aware of.

I'm still here, it was wild last night, lost power around 9pm and still hasn't come back on as of 8:45am this morning. Had HEAVY rain with golfball size hail, 65mph wind's, 1 Tornado with no confirmed damage, lot's of trees down in the area, several roof's damage as well.
May have a repeat again tonight here in north Texas
(AT 910 PM CDT TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO IN
SOUTHWEST ARLINGTON (Kennedale) NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE 20 AND
HIGHWAY 287. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.)

Well the line made it into Bama as we were headed back from Kansas....torando dropped right behind the girlfriends house in Bluff Park, (Hoover, Alabama) a suburb of Birmingham. A ton of damage was observed, but no injuries thank goodness. Power is still out across much of the communities. I am glad she is okay....otherwise God knows where I would be. Thank God from having his hand on my angel.

Part of an article from WKRC-TV in Cincinnati...possible tornado just 4 miles east of me???

Elsewhere, weather officials were expected to investigate whether a small tornado possibly hit Independence. Several homes were damaged in the 900 block of Maher Road, trees were knocked down, and utility wires were left dangling.
The lightning woke Independence resident Jessie Dalton and her family. "The electricity went off just as we were getting up. It got really intense. We got the children and glass started breaking. You could feel the house rumble," Dalton said.
Windows were blown out by the strong winds and a nearby shed collapsed. The winds were strong enough to lift a camper and move it several yards away.
In Boone County, part of the roof collapsed at Weyerhauser Specialty Products in Richwood. The printing plant had been scheduled to be closed for Memorial Day. No one was inside at the time of the collapse. The company prints high resolution images for use on cardboard boxes. Water damaged some completed production work. It was unclear when the plant would be back in operation.

Severe T/S through Tallahassee
I'm in Tallahassee, we have trees down, power lines down, and lots of vehicle crashes, from a line of thunderstorm moving through. We needed the rain, but not the rest.
