Talk about TEMP SWINGS!

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Jun 01, 2004 7:05 am

WOW! Talk about DRY and some MAJOR, MAJOR swing in TEMPS  This is off the NAFD this morning:

EXPECT A
FEW NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPS ON WEDNESDAY. WITH THE VERY DRY AIRMASS
AND CLEAR SKIES...A FEW OVERNIGHT TEMPS MAY ACTUALLY FALL TO NEAR
RECORD LOW VALUES AS WELL. DIURNAL TEMP RANGE SHOULD CONTINUE TO BE
VERY LARGE WITH DIFFERENCES OF UP TO 50 DEGREES BETWEEN MORNING LOWS
AND AFTERNOON HIGHS.

Yeah.....Az is about the ONLY place I know of that you have to run the A/C during the day and run the HEAT in the mornings to take the *chill* off "LOL!" Here's the whole AFDFLAG:

THE MOUNTAIN-DESERT SOLENOIDAL CIRCULATION DEVELOPS...BECOMING LIGHT

WARMER TODAY...AND A FEW MORE DEGREES WARMER ON WEDNESDAY. EXPECT A
FEW NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPS ON WEDNESDAY. WITH THE VERY DRY AIRMASS
