I am really glad I am able to be back another year to take advantage of the knowledge and even the humor on this board. I keep coming back because I can make a comment or ask a question and not get shot down by the self described experts on other boards. Here I can make an observation and no matter how stupid I am treated with respect.

I learn a lot here and do not pretend to know a lot about weather patterns and steering currents and such. I keep my predictions to myself because I know they are from my gut and not based on definable scientific data.

Thanks to all of you that have made us amaturs feel welcome and for the enjoyment of being able to glean information and to just have fun. I raise my glass to another safe hurricane season and pray that all storms are interesting and spare all from damage (impossible I know).

Thats what S2k is all about. :wink: I am happy to see you feel comfortable here. :P Thats how everyone should feel on S2K. That is our ultimate goal as Staff members. That goes for you or any of the other "Family Members" at S2K If you ever have a problem feel free to contact me or any of the other staff members. I know I can be somewhat obnoxious and annoying at times.. posting stuff like :eek: Holy Crap and :eek: It's coming right for us, but I'm just having fun. Like some other posters.. I keep my predictions to myself and mostly share them with people I work with. I was right both times last season when I saw the Tropical Waves that made Fabian and Isabel. I said they would both be monsters and all my friends at work were so impressed. :D

Glad to see you, Bevco. I feel the same way about S2K that you do. Everyone has been so helpful from the day I signed on. And, it's true, no one belittles any comments or observations -- a real plus.

Sincerely, it makes us feel really good about what we are about here when an unsolicited comment such as yours is posted Bevgo. As Rainband said that is what we strive for and we may slip once in a while, but obviously something is being done right here since we continue to grow.

AGAIN, THANKS!!! And as Rainband said do not ever hesitate to get in contact with one of the staff with problems, concerns or constructive suggestions. We are always trying to make S2K even better!!

:D John, Willie, Johnathan, abajan, Bev! You guys really make me feel like I'm at home and accepting me for who I am. That means so much to me.. I am so looking forward to sharing the Season with all of you... I am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of people. :)
